Are You Wasting Your Time?

A lot of time is wasted… Not by me, in general. Seems like everyone is complaining about wasting time. You shouldn’t sleep till late. It wastes your time. Your time must not be wasted. People who tell you to not waste time are always the perfect image of success, happiness and life fulfilment. This is why they have the right to tell you what you should and should not do.

What is time? Well according to physics, it’s a dimension. We have width, depth, height and time. The super special thing about time is that we cannot control it. We are just flowing through it.

Keeping the above in mind, let us try and just sort of distance ourselves from our compulsive need to tell others what to do with their time. You are not wasting time! You are only spending it doing something that someone considers not worthy. Here is an outline of things that are not worthy:

  • Things that do not make money! I shouldn’t have to list this one, it’s obvious! Everybody knows this! Life is all about making money! Money can buy happiness and friends! Making money is relaxing and fulfilling! If you are not making money, you are wasting your time.
  • Things that do not generate tangible goods! After money, life is all about having things! The more things you have, the better a person you are! Make sure that what you do with your time, yields a lot of things! You need things in order to be cool.. otherwise, you are wasting your time.
  • Things that do not benefit the person accusing you of time-wasting! Are you trying to start a business or pursue an idea you believe in? Well, guess what? People will tell you that you are wasting your time! That is until your business or idea takes off and all of a sudden you are no longer wasting your time. All of a sudden, you are “productive”.

That’s the basic rundown. Make sure that everything you do doesn’t fit into any of those 3 categories. That way you will live a successful and fulfilling life. Fuck emotional satisfaction! Fuck spiritual goals! Fuck independent thinking! Let’s all just make money, get stuff and then make more money!7027604401_406e35ba1f

We don’t need to worry about “thinking outside the box”.. You can just put it on your CV. Nobody will check! To not waste any time, you have to become a brain-dead “productive” machine. Personal development is a waste of time! It doesn’t make money or get stuff.

Make sure to slag off time-wasters. They might be doing something completely stupid like trying to develop themselves as a person. They might be attempting to figure out what they want to do with their life. They might be resting after a stressful period of time. They might be choosing a direction for their spiritual or emotional development. Alternatively, they might just be enjoying themselves. Doing something that is not “productive”. It’s just fun and enjoyable. All those examples satisfy all 3 categories. They should be deemed illegal and punishable by death. People guilty of time-wasting are too intelligent and self-aware. Besides, their lives are waaaay too fun.. We do not like them because we are insecure about the meaningless, but “productive” lives we live.

Let’s stop wasting time, switch off our brains and spend our time being “productive”.

Stop reading this post, reading things for your enjoyment is a waste of time!

Make sure to slag me off in the comments for wasting my time writing silly satirical posts 😛
